A price is not a complete offer. Record the publisher, placement format, proposed page or topic and content work included. If a quote covers multiple placements, ask how each opportunity is selected and approved. A package total alone cannot tell you whether the scope meets your needs.
Make approval rights specific
Approval of a domain does not necessarily include approval of an article, exact wording or anchor text. List each approval separately and ask when it happens. If editorial discretion remains with the publisher, understand which changes could be made and how material changes would be handled.
Identify content responsibilities
Check who supplies the research, draft, editing and any supporting assets. Ask how revisions are scoped and who checks product claims. If you are providing content yourself, confirm that this is accepted before paying for writing elsewhere. The proposal should not leave two parties assuming the other is responsible.
Read the delivery and exception terms
Confirm the currency, applicable fees, expected timing and what event counts as delivery. Ask what happens if the publisher declines the topic, becomes unavailable or changes the agreed scope. Any cancellation or replacement terms should identify their conditions and limits; do not infer them from another provider’s website.
Keep a comparison record
Use columns for opportunity, writing, approvals, disclosure, total cost, timing, exceptions and reporting. Mark unanswered items as unknown. Resolve important gaps before deciding. Wooranked has not published an approved rate card; the site’s quote guidance is a preparation aid, not a binding offer or a guarantee of placement.
